· Pre-Use Check: Before use, inspect the pot, lid, and silicone seal for any cracks or damage. When closing the lid, ensure the steam vents are not blocked by food debris to prevent overpressure, spills, or deformation during heating.
· Ingredient Guidelines: Do not fill the pot more than 2/3 full with food. For liquids and sauces, keep the level below 1/2 of the pot height to prevent boiling over. For ingredients that expand when heated (e.g., eggs, sausages, beans), pierce them with a toothpick before cooking to prevent bursting.
· Heating Power & Time: Adjust the heating time based on the type and thickness of the food. It is recommended to start with medium-low power (600-800W) and short durations, then gradually increase the time to avoid burning the food or warping the pot.
· Safe Removal: After heating, the pot and food will be very hot. Do not touch the pot or open the lid immediately. Always use oven mitts, and open the lid away from your body to avoid steam burns.
· Cleaning & Maintenance: Allow the pot to cool completely before cleaning. Do not use abrasive scrubbers like steel wool on the non-stick coating, as this can cause it to peel. Dry thoroughly after washing and store in a cool, dry place.
· Food Restrictions: Do not heat whole eggs in their shells, sealed packaged foods, high-sugar/high-oil ingredients that can easily carbonize, or shelled seafood/nuts, as these may pose safety risks or damage the pot.
